    A pathway for becoming culture-changing Christians - Part 1

In this first episode of a special eight-episode series called “Being Christian in today’s culture,” Dr. Jim Denison lays out seven essential convictions that a Christian who wants to engage and influence their culture most effectively should adhere to.
These seven pillars of biblical flourishing are:
Biblical truth and authorityThe necessity of faith in ChristThe sanctity of life from conception to natural deathBiblical sexualityRacial and gender equalityPolitical civilityCultural engagement
At Denison Forum, we often use the phrase “culture-changing Christian.” But what does it truly mean to be a Christian who changes the culture? Can one person even do something so seemingly large?
In this opening episode, Christians are encouraged to use their gifts, skills, and influence to serve God and draw others to him. Because when a life is deeply rooted in Christ and a Christian chooses to think biblically and act redemptively, the world can’t help but change.

The history of June 28

Because we have a Gen Z son, I was interested in what I should do if I find myself in conversation with an LGBTQ+ person. This podcast was very helpful. Our son and his fiance, although heterosexual, are outspoken about treating everyone justly, etc. I'm not sure of their opinion of me (we live on opposite coasts), but I hope I model Christ and His love.
